Hi,
just need a little advice.My partner banks with yorkshire bank and needs a statement.She was told that it will cost her £5 because the statement she is asking for is older than six months old.Is this right???? thnx

Thats a standard charge for a copy statement, not sure about the six month thing but I assume its because the statement has to be recreated from transaction lists rather than a copy being held that can be sent.
You could ask for all transaction lists under the data protection act for £10 but you wouldnt get them in statement form.LegalBeagles0
