Hello All,
Im looking to get a credit card, for work purposes only - get hire cars etc & they will be paid off straight away direct to the card.
I havent got one at the minute, its not going to be for anything other than this. I have all of my banking with Lloyds..they have a basic one.
I have an ok credit rating but not great.
Any ideas? im thinking it dont really matter as it will be paid instantly anyway..
Just might be good for rewards etc..
Thanks

I would have thought that if you need a credit card for your work then your work should provide you with some sort of company corporate card for you.0

Hi sunshine,
If you are paying it off then get a card with the longest interest free period to allow maximum time to get your expenses.
Or get a card with cashback or rewards like airmiles.
Jones - No that's not always the case.
My company used to give us a company Barclaycard, but they reckoned it cost 0.5 person to reconcile the statements with expense reports.
So for cost cutting they dispensed with this and told everyone to get their own.
There is a slight risk because if your employer goes bust you won't get paid expenses (I have had this actually happen to me but fortunately it was a small amount).
Therefore I am quite risk averse and my employer provides me with an interest free "cash advance" which I have offset against my mortgage.0
