Is it worth it? Buggy on the train...

I'm going down to visit my folks with my 2 kids aged 4 & 2 1/2.

My 2 1/2yo son is a bit lazy and I'm debating taking his buggy for the journey in case he gets grumpy/sleepy and also for traveling between busy stations.

We are getting the train from Doncaster to Kings Cross then hopefully getting the shiny new High Speed 1 train from St Pancras to Ebbsfleet where we are getting picked up or will walk to their house which is up the road.

I have a spare buggy ready at my mum's house for when i am there and reins to keep hold him with but i just wonder that if i DON'T take the buggy am i going to make the journey more HELLISH for myself?

TIA :j

If he can walk short distances I don't see why you should take the buggy, especially if the house is only down the road. If he gets too tired you could arrange to be picked up or for someone to meet you with the buggy that is at you mums.
