When you register for Verified by Visa does this cover only one credit card or any other cards you also have?

Secondly if your card has been reissued after an attempted unauthorised use, it has a different number. Is new number also registered, or do you have to go through the registration process again?

Lastly when going through the registration process today I was faced with a page with 3 boxes to fill in - password selected, confirm password and User ID. The first 2 are obvious, but what is it asking for under 'User ID'? Is this something I have already been given, or is it asking me to create a User Name? Sorry if this is something specific only to the card company I was dealing with, but perhaps someone has come across it.

When you register a card you are just registering the one card, so if you have another card, you need to register that as well with a password etc.
