100gb? i strongly doubt it, not a free one anyway! it wont be efficient, you rather buy an external-hard drive... for online, you'l have to upload each file you want to share which will take you ages depending on your upload speed.
here's another thread which has links about websites which provide online disk space: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1777220 -

Anything is possible, it just begs the question: Have you got the money to pay for itAsk in these forums here
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
i want a web host provider i.e. who will host my web site that offers 100 Gb's of storage space, i.e. i want to create a site i can load my movies onto (my own movies i've made). i.e provide a link to each movie - so the movies have to be stored on the web hosts server which needs to offer a load of storage space.0

i have a small amount of money, but the cheaper the better.0

Why would you need 100gb?
Anyone using that amount would almost be better off just having their own server within a hosting environment.
I'm guessing you'll be using it for some sort of storage, as even a website such as Amazon wouldn't use anywhere close to that."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
well i have a lot of movies 277 hours worth to be precise.
i calculated if i convert to AVI 320x240, 15 fps i would need 100gb to store.
does anyone agree? do you know of another format that will offfer better compression.
im very new to website hosting, any advice is appreciated.0 -
Ah ok. Well I wouldn't host avi's on such a server, it's not feasible at the moment. For now, either a dvd-burner or external hard drive(s) is best. Especially considering the amount of time it'd take to upload, let alone considering bandwidth costs.
I've got about 400 DVD's myself, most of which I've converted to avi (XviD codec, maintaining the resolution) so that I can put them on my Xbox's hard drive and access them "on tap" (no disc swapping).
I currently use DVD-R's, 3 per disc (1.5gb each), and keep them in slim-line cases. I could however probably get away with 2x 300gb external drives. The question you have to ask though is, is it worth the expense to have your movies so readily available."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
it's not about the storage for my own personal use, i have all my movies stored already at home - as part of a project i want them accesible from a web page (linked from that webpage). if im to have them on a webpage they need to be stored on a web hosts server? is that correct.
so i need a web host that can provide 100Gb+ of storage space. is AVI the best format to use?0 -
Host them yourself. Then you dont have the HUGE job of uploading.
You also have full control (apart from the ISP side) of your hosting, and changes can be done from home quickly.0 -
but he will not have great upload,
unless you having multiple lines in
