I am taking my tribe to butlins bognor on monday for a 5 day break and we are staying in the new shoreline hotel.I havent been to butlins for years so any tips advice greatly appreciated. How far is the butlins resort from bognor itself?Ive heard that food is quite expensive so will be on the look out for a pizzahut, harvester etc out of the resort as i presume it will be better value(and less crowded!).Ive got twin girls 6 years old and a 2 year old boy,is there plenty for the kids to do and does it get very busy at easter? Also ive heard that people smuggle in their own drink into the clubs as the drinks are a hefty price has anyone had any experience of this as im wondering how nobody will notice as i crack the top off a few bottles of beer?
Thanks in advance people

The Bognor site is on the sea front and right next to the resort, best place to shop is Tesco (a short drive away).
As for smuggling drink, well where there's a will and if you're in the skyline pavillion even better.
They have burger king and harry ramsdens on site and a load more off site0 -
We stayed at Butlins in Bognor last easter and had a great time. yes the drinks and food is expensive and I admit I did take my own vodka into the entertainment area at night!!!
The kids loved it and we had a fab day trip to brighton (about half hour away) and somewhere I have always wanted to go!
have a lovely time, just watch the prices whilst "on camp"!0 -
there is a Brewers Fayre just outside the resort on the seafront to the right and a few other places as you walk further along into the town.0

There is a pizza hut on A29 just north of town center 1.5 miles from butlins.0
