ebay account after being banned

Hi all, please don't be judgemental, I just want advice.
A few years ago I moved house and was bidding on things on ebay. It took a month to get my new internet connection working, I thought it would be instantaneous. I was housebound and couldn't get to the library or anywhere else to use the net. When I got online again I'd won a few auctions and had non paying bidder strikes against me and my account had been closed.
Is there anything I can do to get a new account? I've got a lot of stuff to sell and can't think of anywhere else to sell it (it's craft stuff, so a car boot isn't really appropriate). I tried a year or so ago, and it said to contact the sellers from the old account to get the strikes removed, but they aren't going to remember after three years!
Hope that's all clear enough.

I've no advice on that score, but I used to frequent www.ukscrappers.co.uk and they had a sales section on their forum, maybe that would be useful?
HTHNo, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!
Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target0 -
Are you sure the account was closed, and not just suspended for a few months? Do you still know your old account details (username + password)? If you do, have you tried logging in with your old details?
Failing that, just open a new account. Your IP address and home address will both be different to your old account, so I doubt ebay'll know it's you.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Registring a new account while suspended on an old one means automatic suspension for life if caught. Personally I would be trying to grovel to ebay about getting the old one reinstated.

i understand that some people get kicked off ebay and are not always deserving of the suspension due to circumstance.
it can be possible to persuade ebay to reinstate your account but if not and you are determined to get back on ebay then there are some useful sites out there than can help people in your situation.
However it is a minefield and you should not be tempted to buy any "eBooks" instead look for ebay related forums that offer free help and advice.
I'm not sure many people here really give advice on re-registering on ebay after suspension but here are some suggestions that you should search on google,
Get back on ebay forum,
Ebay Suspension Forum,
Ebay suspension,
I don't know any sites that i can recommend personally having never used one but i would just say, Don't pay anything no matter how much they promise you they will get you back on ebay and instead try to find specialist forums inhabited by real ebay users who have been in your position.
It is possible to get back on ebay and is not that complicated but just don't get scammed out of any money.0 -

Don't forget to use a different email address and a different credit/debit card.
If anything is the same as it was for your suspended account, your new one will be suspended."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

A waste of time, since OP has a new address and IP, they're better off going for a new account."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Good luck trying to "persuade" eBay either!
You are banned for xx length of time - after that you have to fill in a re-instatement form then you are allowed back.Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -
If you took your old landline number to your new address then that would be a problem (assuming it had been 'linked' to your old account). If not then I'd be tempted just to start up a new account.

I was in this situation back in 2002 and i had no problem getting back on ebay. Still using the same computer, still same address, still same bank details. Its just a myth that Ebay will find out who you are. Of course things were different back then. What a year 2002 was, what a time to be alive.0
