in Credit cards
Hello
I'm an international student living in Uk for the past 19 months. I completed my studies and soon changing over to a work permit. I'm doing a part time job where I earn anything between £700 - £800 a month after tax)
I have a credit card with Lloyds TSB with £400 credit limit. I'm using it for the past 12 months or so without any problem. (always pay off on time) and I have a decent credit rating. (never been over draft ..etc)
Now I'm facing some financial difficulties and in need of another credit card. (Visa extension fees, etc.. killing me) I tried asking my bank to extend my credit limit but they refused saying I have to wait 6 months. :rotfl:
I want to get a new credit card but my problem is I'm in uk (my address) for only 19 - 20 months only. so every time I try applying they always ask for a previous address. which I don't have one. (uk)
How can I get a decent credit card with a decent limit (£1000 would be nice) ?
Thank you for your replies.
