chk file recovery

I have a pen drive with a lot of photos on that became corrupted before I had the chance to back them up. I ran a few scan disk type programs and now have the files on the same pen drive in a folder named FOUND. My Windows Vista laptop doesn't read this file but my macbook pro does read this file. How can I recover these files and use them as normal?

The recoverability will depend on which scandisk type programs you used. The problem you face is that the recovered CHK files may not be complete...0
