Also, I guess it's a warning to say that they can now do whatever they need to recover the money - via courts, dca, etc. Most will sell the debt on to a dca.
However, most will not do the court route as it costs them a lot (however, I guess it depends on how much you owe) and there is no guarantee that they will recover the money. Most of my creditors sold my debts on after having issued a default notice so it actually worked in my favour.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Interesting this.
All mine are with lloyds, 4 altogether.
A joint loan, myself and hubby
My own loan
Hubby's credit card
Overdraft.
With a bit of luck though, hubby should hear from his job interview he attended recently, fingers crossed, since he he lost his job along with so many hundred others due to cutbacks, this would put us right again with a bit of luck.;)

Why don't you frame all the letters from Lloyds and hang them in the loo?
Just think how much it is costing them to send these letters! I had a similar creditor and I only owed about £200 but after a year of constant phone calls 6 times a day to my mobile and letters they sent, I reckoned it must have cost them more in the harrassment than the money I owed! I let them carry on though!
Think I've said before, Lloyds are notorious for this. They don't actually accept dmps and are aggressive. They seem to think that the "threat" of selling the debt to a dca is scary...don't think it is!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

I would say just to keep on as you are via CCCS - they can't get blood out of a stone - if you don't have it, they can't have it and at least you are showing that you are trying to pay you debts. Courts may look more favourably on you because of this.
Good luck to hubby with interview. Know the feeling, I got made redundant last August from a good job but went temping and am still at the same company but now on a fixed term contract so it's better than nothing and keeps me in work until October, so I will worry again then!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

lmao, hang them in the loo, love it lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, enough of them there to insulate the loft as well lol :rotfl::rotfl:.
Yeah your right, it must cost them a fortune, mine was for £105, bet all these letters, postage etc they sent so far cost them double to that amount lol:D.
I hear they are not the easiest. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Thank you so much.;)
Sorry to hear about your job as well, its not easy is it?
Glad you settled again now, lets hope then it will be permanent soon, good luck.
I shall post up when hubby hears, the money is fantastic as well, after a month or 2 if succesful it should sort it all out.
Fingers crossed, thanks again.;)
We have mortgage arrears as well, again Lloyds TSB C&G, this is why we asked for help with the CCCS, as soon as my hubby is successful with new employment, then obviously its the arrears to be dealt with first, and we can carry on as we are with the unsecured credit via Lloyds TSB, concentrate on the mortgage first. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

There is no harm in requesting your CCA from Cap One - don't think it will make it any worse for you.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
