Mulitcar Insurance

Are admiral the only ones to do this kind of insurance??
My renewal has just come thought and they have doubled my premium!!! which takes it into bracket that just seems totally unfeasible.
Granted we'd had a bed year on the car front, having claimed for a windscreen which i was told wouldn't affect my premium, a car break in which we lost 2 years of my husbands 5 years no-claims bonus, and i've had a crash which wasn't my fault and was paid by the other drivers insurance.
but really doubling our premium seems excessive??
We've looked into getting two seperate insurances for each car, mine with 1 years no-claim, my husbands with 3 years and it would work out at far less than the mulit-car policy that admiral have quoted.
Is there any other options available?

A windscreen claim usually doesn't reduce your NCD, (though some companies won't allow you an extra year's NCD at renewal time if you have made a claim on the windscreen section of your policy), but your premium may still go up as a result of the claim.
Two separate policies via a cashback site would also mean 2 lots of cashback which might sweeten the pill!0 -
Some companies offer a discount for having a second policy with them, although cashback is probably higher than the discount you receive.0
