credit card charges

i have 2 credit cards which due 2 me being off work with serious knee injury i've struggled with the payments and as a result the card companies havepast on the debt to a collection agency. can i still claim the charges back? if so how long does it take? (mint card and capital one):confused:

    yes you can
    Depends how quickly they respond to you to be honest.
    Do you have all your charges for the last 6 years?
    I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

    not yet but i'll be seding a letter off today. how long do they have to reply to my letter. do they usually take it to court or are justpaying out?

    the first letter to get a list of the charges, the credit card company have 40 straight days from receipt of the request(make sure you include the £10 fee for the info or it could delay it)
