An old mascara brush twirled round pulls up all the hairs easily. Likewise a cotton bud twiddled around.

I had to use Mr Muscle unblocker yesterday as I tried all the non-really bad chemical ways. Left over night and voila all clear today.

  • Our bath blocked this week - my daughter has very long hair - and I put a bottle of the bathroom unblocker stuff down it. No fuss and it fixed it perfectly in 15 mins. I had tried to reach the blockage with a long brush etc, but the pipe obviously goes a long way down and then bends so I couldn't catch anything. Plus, the little plughole bit is caulked in place with no way to remove it unlike our shower which I de-hair regularly. So is you find the other things don't work, I can vouch for the 'nasty chemicals'!

    crochet hooks are good too.

When we redid our bathroom DH put in the widest possible waste pipes. No problem since then and all the hair that is washed down collects in the gulley of the drain outside (Eeeuw) rather than getting trapped in the pipe
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

i found the Dri-Pak's ebay shop sell 5litre bottles of white vinegar sometimes, or i thin you can buy from them directly, last a lot longer and is a cheaper way of doing it:T!!
