i have seen the ps2 8 "slimline screens in argos ,and i am little confused as how it connects to the ps2? the only thing i can see on the argos site is the car adapter thing,is that the only power to it??

Don't know what connector's are on the back of the slimline PS2 but the screen will just connect through the the normal connectors that you connect via a normal tv and plug into the cigarette adapter for power0
