Hey all, new to the forum but been reading everyso often, just thought I would take the plunge and register.
I have experienced what could be a problem this morning, I applied for a Play.com credit card online this morning, completed steps 1 to 4, clicked submit after all the legal stuff and all that happened was it lead to step 1 again but all the entries were blank?
Now I might be being a little be stupid here, but the least I expected was a notification that my application had been submitted, checked my email and nothing has come through. Tried to phone MBNA customer satisfaction centre, but the machine requests a card number which I evidently don't have.
I don't want to submit another application in case it applies for a credit card twice.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

I can only suggest that you try ringing them to see if they have an application by you. If you need a card number to get through them just press a digit at random - eventually you get to a person generally because you confuse the machine.0

i dunno if i got an email confirming it now, i cant find one, i have been accepted now [took ages] but cant find an initial confirming email0

I never got any email when I applied either. I did get around 2 or 3 once I was accepted though.
My application was eventually approved when I called them 2 weeks later. When you get through just don't enter anything and you'll get to speak to somebody.
Don't be surprised if they can't find your details to begin with, it took them around 5 or 10 mins searching for me before they put me through to the 'applications team' (they asked the same questions several times despite me making clear I was calling about a new application and that I didn't have an existing account).0 -

MBNA Customer Satisfaction Services : 0800 062 062
The number they told me to ring regarding Play.com CC Services : 0800 0851 709 Monday to Thursday : 8am to 8pm Friday : 8am to 5pm.

Well it was a proper palava (sp?) I went through to applications, then said I cannot deal with this let me transfer you to the applications team, then I just got sent to the same machine 3 times until I spoke to 1 guy who gave me the 0800 0851 709 number. Not phoned that number yet as I rung up yesterday.0 -

quick update i totally forgot about this and just recieved an email saying theyve recieved all relevate information to complete my application and its been accepted!!! how strange
anyways 9months interest free on purchases will get me a lovely plasma screen now :T whoop whoopplease just thank me0
