Buying Shares????!!!!HELP!!!!

Hi there

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice about buying shares! I would like to buy shares in GUINNESS as a gift to one of there BIGGEST fans!!!, but have no clue how to go about it!!!

Any advice would be most appreciated!!

    Diageo own the rights to Guinness. Todays share price (@ 11:45) £9.01 stock exchange code = DGE (vist http://www.londonstockexchange.com/en-gb/home.htm and put DGE in name/code field).
    Its a UK listed share so you can buy through most high st banks.

    BJC Is coreect that Diageo bought out Guinness some years ago, so the share certificate wont resemble Guinness if that was what you were looking for.

    You could look on Ebay as there are quite a few sellers of old certificates and you could pick one up.

    If you are looking to purchases shares, look at the value you are buying compared to the charge for buying, and laterly selling. If its going to cost you twice as much to buy and sell s it really worth buying ?
