Will i still get my money back??

Around a month before the test case began i sent in all my letters and paperwork etc to claim £2000+ in charges.

Since then i have several letgters from A&L "updating" me of the test case, and that my claim is on hold.

For the last four years i havent had a single charge. Most of the money came a few years before when i was at uni.

So if i went back 6 years from the day i submitted it would be 2k+, but if it was from today it would be more like £200.

Will my original claim still stand or will all moneys on that claim, that are now longer than 6 years old, be invalid?

In the last 9 months i have been made redundant twice, but i live at home with my parents and dont have too many outgoings except a £150/m, £100/m c/c and a £40 phone bill. I started back working self emploed a week ago. Can i reclaim as a hardship?? And will i lose the original claim if i do so and only be able to claim the last 6 years from now? not my original claim?

sorry if thats all gobbledeygook, i cant word it correctly, ive tried for 45mins, and thats the best i can come up with to get my queries accross

thanks in advance

  • No to hardship since you haven't had a charge but yes to charges incurred as you can go back to July 2001.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
