Saturday/Sunday 4/5 July - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D

Good morning everyone!

It's a lovely day today. Sunny and soooo much cooler !

I am delivering training today at my voluntary job so am out all day. It's going to be a long day as I will either be going to see mum or spend the evening with OH's family!

  • put another load in for OH to deal with
  • [STRIKE]scratchie - 10p[/STRIKE]

    • daily scratch
    • check Asda delivery that's coming on Mon
    • buy a few bits in Tesco...
    • Fruit/Veg from market/greengrocer
    • washing on line...2nd load will go out soonpeople566.gif
    • post ebay parcel
    • pay in cheque ex mil gave me for girls gym club
    • dust/hoover/tidy girls bedroom
    • ditto above but in my bedroom
    • hoover lounge
    • clean kitchen and bathroom
    • clean out goldfish and rabbit
And then tonight I shall relax with half a bottle o red wine, my laptop and the tvyay.gif
    Have a lovely day:p

Hi everyone - tis a hot one here, I think we are in for some thunder tonight.

    Today I

    1) Sc x 10p
    2) Went to shopping centre and returned shoes and jeans, that I bought on impulse last week, for a refund.
    3) Realised that Gap had further reduced their sale items - so promptly spent most of my refund on cheap clothes for T to put away for next year.
    4) Food from stores.
    5) Entered cokezone points.
    6) Also played Find Gary on the Walkers crisps site. Don't know if it has been mentioned on here but you can play everyday for 1 point, which soon adds up and can be used for free or cheap days out. No need to buy the crisps!
7)Had a lazy afternoon in the garden.

I took B shopping for a digital camera earlier for her to buy with her birthday money. She ended up with a clearance one for £20 as the box was missing - just checked on Amazon and it it £82! :jShe is sooooo chuffed, and I am v proud of my MSE girl! She has gone to the World Series til tomorrow night with her dad, so will use it then.

As it is just me and T tonight I hope he will go to sleep early and let me indulge in some me time. I intend to drink wine and eat chocolate and watch my current boyfriend Patrick Dempsey in an unashamedly girly film!

    Catch you later,L X
