Toto - if you want to use my ebay account you are quite welcome...i have 100% feedback. You could change the payment details on it to yours for the sale.

Aww thanks sammy. I'm doing what BB said and going to find a watches auction, I can't be bothered with the paypal holding the money crap they usually do for any item of value.

I might take you up on it when they boot me out again if I haven't cleared out the junk in the house first though :)

This grannying is exhausting! Baby bathed and asleep. Instant dinner in oven (looks a bit ropey but it was provided for me) and granny in garden with wine. Looks like rain.

That spam button is very close to the reply button.

I'm going to confess I feel a bit funny about finding this watch and flogging it. I really don't still have feelings for the ex (I hope) It's just brought up a bunch of memories I guess.

I know he would be really upset if he knew I was selling the stuff he bought me... oh well, never mind :)

    Good girl BB :T

Pap I have been thinking about Maz too, I might text her as she's not been on MSE since yesterday afternoon...

Toto that is a beautiful watch, can totally see why you would sell of course, but it is stunning. Even relationships that you're thrilled are over, with !!!!!! as exes, and are a billion times happier now than then, well there are always some good memories... my heart has had a bit of an ache over people I have absolutely no regrets about ending things with

the thing to think about is the circumstances surrounding why he bought it for you. Have you ever worn it? If it were me, I'd sell it in a shot because of the memory it specifically brings with it.

I know I don't actually know him other than what I already knew - the public image of him, and the couple of conversations I've had with him when you said to contact him.........but part of me thinks from what I do know of him that he won't even remember buying it for you.....he was probably more consumed with trying to appease his guilt and it was just an impulse buy with the thought 'expensive=forgiveness'.

I sold a vase about 3 years ago my ex bought me the last Christmas or the one before that we were together. I needed the money and it was quite a rare one from Poole Pottery. It sold for £120 and whilst I was never keen on it, I did feel bad about it for a bit.
