    Morning all
The link works ok for me RR.
Breakfast done, washing on the line, been to the sorting office to collect a parcel, hanging baskets watered, shopping done, now on with the housework.
Hubby's not well today, well if he will eat a whole bag of peanuts in one go what does he expect!
Mr 'I have a small willy so I'll buy a big car' has been washing said car for the last hour, unfortunately he is unable to do it with out the car stereo on full blast, even more unfortunately he only plays rap music, the sort that is spelt with a capital C.
I'm going to relax in the garden with a cuppa for a while, have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

OH Hester - you always make me smile.

Just popped on to say hi to everyone, and send a (((hug))) to those who'd like one.

A little cooler today which is quite pleasant. Will be cooling off again it seems tomorrow for a day or so.

Normandy Banquet organised on camp for tonight, so no cooking for moi!

    Take care - DG

    Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes for dad. I've spoken to him thi morning and he already sounds more cheerful and has eaten a decent breakfast. He says the legs of the zimmer frame they sent home with him are thicker than his own legs.

I will be inventorying (??) the freezer and store cupboards today to make a meal plan and shopping list and get back on track. I will also go to Lidl for as much as possible DS is a manager there but they don't get discount unfortunately.

I might even join the grocery challenge for July, scarey thought.

Otherwise its ironing, tidying and painting on the agenda this weekend. Oh and I have to give a talk next week and I can't find the slideshow I used last year so I'm panicking a bit, I've only one more place to look.

    Afternoon All,

Hope you are all well and having a nice weekend. I have enjoyed reading the threads today, sounds like most people are busy today.

O/S - Two lots of washing, mopped the kitchen floor, clean all the kitchen cupboards and fridge, took dog for a walk, thinking of getting some strawberry plants this afternoon and putting them in my hanging baskets as my flowers have now gone over. Tidying the utility room (what a mess :(), have also cleaned the oven (one of my worst jobs) and weeded the front garden. Tomorrow I need to paint the bedroom and weed the driveway where we park our cars, so many weeds at the mo.

OH is not back this weekend he is busy working so probably won't see him for a couple of weeks now. It isn't easy having to do all the jobs on my own that I don't normally do e.g. mowing the lawn.

Anyway going to go read some more threads.

Take care all and have a nice weekend

    Afternoon everyone.
Bit late today as was up and down to the local town centre to get some paper plates, bowls etc from Poundland for christening next week.
we started on the cake yesterday so despite the garden still looking like a bomb site I do feel like I am making a little bit of headway. Snagged a bargain for my DD, I needed a cream cardi in case the weather is a bit cool next Sat and found one for £12. Turns out when I came to pay it was only £3 :T
My parents were with me and they bought her 1st birthday presents which were also half price so it's been a good shopping trip all in all :D
Only downside is my back. I've had problems for years and as DD is getting much heavier it's making my back tetchy. Am not feeling so mobile after going shopping so have got to make sure I don't hurt it further.
Not much OS going on today. Veggies are still coming on a treat. Have to plant some more lettuce and just some more washing to hang on the line.

Fairy Elephant - Congratulations :T Sending you lots of sticky vibes your way :grouphug: (sorry I use that smiley and it looks sooooo norty!!!!)

Covgirl - Welcome to OS Stick :hello: around you'll get loads of ideas from this board. I am not too far from you, I live in Solihull.

Have a good day everyone OS or not.

Good afternoon :D Having a very lazy day here I've sorted the washing out, decided what's for tea and swished & swiped the bathroom! I've finished a book & I'm going to continue to read Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince to DS3 - we're on chapter 10 and hoping to get it finished before we go to see the film ;) I read all the books to DD & DS2 about 4 years ago but DS3 was too young at the time to take it all in. I really enjoy it and so does he. It's a bit of special time just for us that costs nothing :money:

I hope that everyone is having a good day & enjoying the sunshine.

Halight My DD & I both suffer from eczema it's horrible in the warm weather. Gentle & cooling hugs to your daughter xx

Fairy Elephant Such good news :j :j :j I've got everything possible crossed for you.

Just sitting down with a nice cup of redbush tea to watch the Womens finals. I like both the Williams sisters so no idea who is going to win. Possibly Venus, but Serena is right on top of her game so who knows, and I love that!
