Hi, my family and I are due to emigrate to New Zealand in the next couple of months and we are trying to find the best deal for marine insurance.
We've had a quote of £900 (2.85% of the value of our belongings) from a shipping company, which was rather more than we intended to pay. It is going to cost £3500 as it is to ship everything over without spending another grand just for insurance.
