hi all.
i dont know if this in the right section.
i tried to transfer a large amount of moneyin two transactions, from my joint account in portugal to my wifes account here in the uk. i phoned four times to check that they had the correct account details which they did. my wife checked with halifax today to see why the funds have not cleared, she was told that one lot had been sent back because it was in my name and not my wifes and the other transaction cannot be found.
my query is if the transfer has been sent back how long will i have to wait so i can re-do the transaction and will it actually go back to my portuguese account or will it get stuck in baking limbo.
we are quite concerned as the amount of money is alot and our life savings.
