DLA renewal through no probs

Options
We just got a renewal approved, for 3 years this time. No problem whatsoever. I did enclose a print out of my DH medication that I asked the helpful GP receptionist to print out for me. Not sure if they contacted anyone, but it only took around 4 weeks to get renewal through. It is for mental health related issue. We did ask a knowledgable benefit advisor to look over our claim both times (original and renewal).

I just wanted to give some hope to anyone claiming/renewing - it is not always bad and slow.

Good luck to everyone still waiting or fighting the decision!

Thanks for posting. I had taken heart hearing of short renewals coming through but I'm into 6 weeks now and getting panicky. I'm so happy to hear you were successful.
