Can i charge postage for a scarf to overseas buyey please?

I listed a scarf on Ebay and offered free postage due to the new rules. I have received a message from someone in Australia asking me how much to send there if they won. I would be out of pocket if i had to send for free but will ebay allow me to amend the invoice to charge a postage fee for the scarf.

I would appreciate any advice as do not want to give the potential buyer a postage charge and then not be able to add to invoice.

Thank you

Free postage only has to be your first option so you can add costs for overseas buyers.

If you are going to e selling overseas its better to put the costs in the listings as buyers are sometimes put off if they have to ask.

I totally agree with cyberbob, list all your postage options and then you will attract lots more buyers as they can see the total costs before they bid.

Australia is actually a very large market, I sell a lot there.
