No paint and games eg minesweeper

Im not sure where they have gone but im missing my paint application and the games eg minesweeper, solataire, im using xp, i would do a restore but before i do that is there anything else i can try before i do the restore

Go to Start→Control Panel→Add or Remove Programs and select Add/Remove Windows Components. The Games section can be found under Accessories and Utilities.0
