in Credit cards
Had an egg card for years but haven't really used it for a few years. My payment was always set up as minimum monthly payment by direct debit.
SBT'd 15k a few weeks ago and checked at the time and the website still stated that i paid the min by dd.
Got the 'your statement is ready' email this morning and had a quick look to confirm what the min payment would be. It now said 'no payment info available' My dd info and the fact that i paid the min had 'disappeared'. Very convenient. >:(
I had to enter it all again and am now usure if it will be processed in time. I'll have to ring them up and check and if not make a debit card payment.
All very suspicious to me, sneeky buggers. >:(

I had this problem but I don't think it's Egg's fault. I think direct debits "time out" if not used for 18 months or so. When the DD was not drawn on the correct day, I rang Egg on that day and arranged a debit card payment. Egg were very good about it, were aware that this does happen and there were no repercussions (late payment or missed payment charges).0
