What kind of file format is it?
Look into hacking the firmware for your PSP.

You can do so much more with it with the right homebrew apps. In fact I'm sure there are media players for it that'll play the file (or most codecs)."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

Right click on the file, select Properties. A window should appear, at the top in the textbox what is the extension of the file (ie .mp3, .wma etc...)?"Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0

At work so can't check but a quick google shows .aa2p off is still 2p off!0

You can't - I rung them yesterday and they didn't mention anything about plans to allow it in the future. I'll want to do all the shows so (about 12 hours in total!) burning everytime could take forever!
Can you suggest any programs to use to record the audio stream? How does this work, does it mean that you play the file and as you play it records it? Don't mind the time wasting too much as long as I can get it done easily and simply!2p off is still 2p off!0 -
Depending upon your firmware version, try and run some homebrew. A homebrew media player like PSPlayerMT may be able to play such a format.
That way you save on cost, and get a much more functional PSP."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Will give it a whirl - whats the worst that can happen? Mine's a version 2.002p off is still 2p off!0

The worst that can happen is you can brick your PSP while trying to downgrade the firmware!
Fortunately I didn't.........but it was a tense few minutes!Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......0 -

You don't have to actually change the firmware. Although if you do have a v2.00 then you could downgrade to v1.5. There are other methods now, namely using GTA exploit with Fanjita's eLoader. But that does require you to have a copy of GTA handy. Have a read around... judge for yourself. I'm very much into modding (done my Xbox, waiting on the 360) so I'd only buy my own PSP if I could do so, which makes me a little biased with regards to taking any risks."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
