I think that since the free listing at 99p and below started a lot of sellers are finding their items are going too cheaply. An easy way to get out of this is to say you have sent the item but it has got lost in the post. I too would say my loss rate is around 1/1000 so this is obviously not a Royal Mail issue.
  • True, but only one of the five are Ebay items. The others are 1x Amazon marketplace, 1x Amazon itself, 1x Play.com, 2x Playtrade. I don't know if the whole London strike thing is anything to do with it though.

Could the parcels have been left at a neighbours?
I sent two ebay parcels to a mates house as I was working away at the time and after 3 weeks they had not turned up, I emailed both sellers and fortunately one of them had sent it tracked and it was signed for the day after by his neighbours son who is a dodgy git!
I went around and spoke to him and told him I had proof of it being signed for by him which he then said he had forgotten about it and said he would hand it to my mate when he got in from work.
Funnily enough the parcel turned up sealed at my mates later that day by the guy in question and both of the missing ebay items from different sellers were in the same box:rolleyes:
At least I got them in the end.

P.s. He now has DO NOT LEAVE AT #? on his shipping address and we can only wonder about his personal mail if it ever ends up there.

Sometimes it just seems some people have issues receiving items. I sent an item three times to one customer and he still didnt receive it. I spoke on the phone with him lots and dont believe he was scamming me. He was furious that RM were not getting the items to him and actually sent me a nicely worded email to send off with the RM claims for the lost items to support the non receipt.
