A friend will be in Ghana for 1 month. Trying to think of the best (cheapest) way to keep in touc via mobile phone. Texting and calls are one option, but has anyone experience of using data / email rather than texting?
- will this work out a lot cheaper?
- should this be done using a 'local' sim card
- which 'local' sim card will support data (email) transmissions
- how can we be sure that it will work before the trip
- which is the best 'local' sim to use
Any help really apprecieted
Cheers
