When I bought my laptop new, I registered it to B...g..t.
I changed my login name to S..w...e and nothing I appear seems to change what I initialled above as BGT.
In My Computer Systems Properties,
how do I change my computer registered name?
i.e. This computer is registered to B...g..t that has the OEM number beneath it?

If I fail to thank you individually, I am sorry. Your advice was appreciated but may not have been 100% the result I was after.

Have you tried to scan the registry for "B...g..t."?
Press Windows + R and then enter REGEDIT in the box. CTRL + F does the find."Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain0 -
Easier in REGEDIT to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion and change the value RegisteredOwner.

Cheers John Gray.
Followed your advice and got my name changed.
My pc was not really registered to B.G.T, I had some letters removed.
Shall save this for futre reference.
