similar to another thread on the board so I do apologise, but a slightly different question. obviously a number of companies offer such promotions or 'finance deals' as they call them but does anyone know of companies that offer such to students or the unemployed? I have looked at a lot of the main ones (as i need a new computer) but as I am a post grad student between years I automatically tend to fail the requirements because I am not employed (as it happens I have a 'future' employer but as that is 14 months off I don't see the point in listing them as the deal is to pay the rest in 12 months). thanks for any thoughts etc. before anyone makes the suggestion, i have attempted to get a job but like many other students on this board am struggling to find work. i have sold a number of items on ebay to cover the bills but obviously a computer is out of my price range at the moment!

There are plenty of cheap seconds hand pc's on ebay, what's wrong with the one you are using (assuming it's yours)?
If you have no income, you won't get finance, these deals come with a hefty apr (even 0% ones if you miss a payment)0
