hi
my phone is set on general settings
but for some reason when anyone rings or txt its say silence on the right hand side of the screen ,,,,cant find a way to reset it....any ideas
also....bluetooth ear piece is detected but the phone wont connect to it

Ring the phone and then try turning the volume up using the buttons on the phone, its ages since I had one so I hope that helps, also do you have bluetooth on the phone turned on? Remember that bluetooth will drain the battery quicker if lrft on when not required.

its not the volume that's at fault
this is something to do with what's displayed when someone rings you
normally it would say handset or blue tooth,,,,now it says silence ...at the top of the phone in settings it says general,,,,so i should be hearing it ring;;;

blue tooth has to be activated so i can use my hand free unit,,,
the problem here is ,,it sest up on the blue tooth and identify s my unit,,,then when you go to pair the device its says cant be found

To turn it quickly to silent profile, press and hold the # button. Again press and hold it if you wanna go to the ringing profile.

thanks folks but your not reading my post properly...either that or ive not spelt out the problem clearly enough,,,
its nothing do to with the general settings ie
silent , outside , general,,,,
these profiles are ,,,or appear to be set ok,,,
the phone is set in profile of ,,,general...
when my phone rings i should hear a tone/song....on the display,,,in the bottom right hand corner it used to say,,,handset,,,or blue tooth,,,so you have the option to hear the call on the unit or hands free

now when it rings in that corner it says silent and you hear nothing..
the settings in general are set for a musical tone and volume is 6 /8..so it should be singing its little head off
but it aint......
