Jet2 Gift Voucher Warning

I recently recieved a large amount of Jet2 gift vouchers, (Long sevice at work), so I decided to book some flights to spain, I went online and the price after taxes was £420 But because I had gift vouchers I had to call the call centre (10p Per Minute) The price they gave me was £530.
That is 25% increase, asked why they said it was because i was booking over the telephone. They could not match the online price. I asked if they had an option to use the gift vouchers online and the answer was no.
so after being on the telephone for a Hour and 15 mins (10p per Minute)
I had to pay £110 more for the same flights that I could of booked online.
why should you get penalised for having Jet2 Gift Vouchers.
So I would like to warn people dont buy Jet2 Gift vouchers, you get penalised and end up paying on average 25% more

But the way i would look at it was I got them free anyway.Tight employers often sign up to these discounted schemes ,my son had some money off meal vouchers which turned out to be not that much of a bargain when you looked at the small print.Perhaps you could let your company/union know its a rip off of sorts.Sometimes you can sell these on ebay0

I cant blame my employer, If the had given me cash I would of been taxed on it,
I was going to book flights to spain so opted for Jet2 Gift vouchers
Its just a shame that the Jet2 Experience has been tainted, you should be able to use them online,
and keeping some one on the telephone for 75 minutes at 10p per minute is criminal0
