I had a slip through the post yesterday from Aqua Credit Card, it was like one of those cheque refunds you get from companies which you have to open by folding the edges over and tearing along the perforations.
So I opend it and there was a message written inside which reads:
" Important notice - one of our representatives will be calling your home on: 7th July 2009. Please telephone xxxx xxx xxxx if this is not conveinient"
The word "call" what does that mean?
Does it mean they are going to phone me or visit at the door?
:eek: Now I am scared as I am home alone all day that day (hubby is working away all week) and am reluctant to phone them up as it may be a 'trap' to make me do this as I have requested they stop harrassing me with calls. I know they have been trying to phone as they keep leaving messages.
What do I do now?

Ummmmm sorry but why is this obvious?Why would you need to tell them to stop harassing you with calls? Is there more to this by any chance?

Personally I'd have the tea and biscuits ready for the 7th July and then invoice them for your time when no one turns up

Well in that case int may not be wise for people to tell you to throw it in the bin. Have you made any contact at all even in writing? If not then there's only one way you get them to stop phoning & that's to open up dialogue with them rather than avoiding them.

Yes I have been in contact with them by letter not only (as previously satated) to ask them to stop harrassing my by phone but to try and deal with my debt so I am not avaiding anyone. (hence the Ostrich quote in my signature).Failure is only someone elses judgement.
