    I haven't got credit cards or an overdraft - got into debt with them before so wont use them.
    just got accepted provisionally on a link i tried through quidco but they want me to fax them bank statements & payslips which i'm really not comfortable about doing,so i'm not going to proceed any further with that.

    If you are happy that you can pay it back nect month, the Money Shop are fine. They charge £15 per £100 borrowed which is a lot cheaper than many of these operations, or using unauthorised Bank overdraft.
