The tiredness seems to be the worst. All I am doing is sleep still I will be fine. I did manage to OP £50 today, That came from switching our bank account so I decided best to be used for an OP.
I hope I feel perkier tomorrow kids are at zoo with grandparents so if Iam up to it I could really do with some decluttering of this houseMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

First working day of the month today which means its Bill day. Everything paid and the small residual amount left on my CC from maternity leave has been cleared I will keep the card open but not use just incase I need to card tart later on in the year. Food shopping is so far going quite well, I was spending £500+ a month but in the last 3 weeks i have been under £50 a time which i am happy about the excess is going into our instant saver, not the best rate of interest but reasonable considering its IAMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Quick update from me. Swine flu is still kicking my butt so I am very quiet. Usually hanging out on the OS board trying to further cut down my grocery bill and generally save money.
I have managed to list more on ebay and it all seems to be selling or has multiple watchers. I am listing things with a start of 99p to avoid insertion fees so if it doesn't sell I have lost nothing. I have decided one attempt at selling then to te local charity shop it goes.
We have car tax due at end of august. £82.50 for 6 months or £150 for a full year. I have money put aside seperatly for this so it should not be too much of a shock to the system to buy the year. Other than that everything is boring. We have chosen bathroom tiles £8 a sq m and we need 15 sqm of them but my dad gets a discount so he will buy them for us. They are white with a slight ripple effect. They look clean fresh and modern which is what i was looking for. I feel that with white tiles I can't go wrong in making the bathroom appealing to viewers.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

Hello LP,
Thought I'd drop by and say hi on your thread. Your observation (see above), makes me smile - I know exactly what you mean. And I suspect, once I've quantified the interest implications on my own mortgage, it could easily become obsessive!!!
Well done for everything you've achieved so far though - sounds like you've been/still are, working incredibly hard!

BTW, I hope you feel better very soon - flu is miserable at the best of times. QB0

That is the problem QB, it does become obsessive. I have been playing around with a calculator and if i OP by only £10 extra a month then i shave 10 months off my MF date. 10 months is alot and a tenner won't be missed IMO. That then leads me to see the diffrencewith £20 then £50 and so on.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I haven't deserted you all just still suffering the effects of swine flu. No more O/P's to be made this month i'm afraid. Washing machine has went pop and it is not worth fixing. Just had to shell out the best part of £400 to replace it with a new one. I did ofcourse search for the best deal possible and went via quidco to buy for the cashback.
Still it is over 5 years old and was very cheap in the first place so I am happy with the use we have had.
I am noticing out incidental spends increasing so I am thinking of using our old current account to fund misc spending with the theory if it isn't in there we cannot spend it.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
