Hi exlibris,
There's an earlier thread with lots of ideas that should help so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I had forgotten about Chicken Casserole but the Verg Moussaka is new to me. I think I have a recipe somewhere.
Thanks for moving my post Pink. I had forgotten about that thread and will start from the beginning again.0 -
Hi there, long time lurker.
I've just been told that for the rest of the month i've got the work at a site much further away from home than my normal site. Im a single mum and besides the child care difficulties this poses i want to try and make things as easy as possible for myself.
Im thinking of spending the weekend cooking and making lots of bulk meals for my freezer so that when i get home from work i won't need to cook to make things easier. I normally shop weekly but i was thinking of going out this evening or tomorrow morning and buying everything i need for the rest of the month.
Any suggestions on what i can make thats cheap, freezes well and can be used to make a meal with minimum effort in the evening? This months aim :- Stick to food Budget / find £100 for my car insuranceMay GC :- £250/£234.55 :T:A:TJune GC :- £150/£127.37:eek:0 -
