Simmons own Sleepeezee, but as far as I can tell, the two brands are sold individually, and I can't see any reference to the Simmons own brand having been dropped and replaced by sleepeezee.

EDIT:
Looking a bit further, Sleepeezee do a "Pocket Visco 1400" which is THIS one, and Simmons do the "Pocket Visco 1400 Indulgance" HERE which has a different spec to the Sleepeezee one.
Simmons Pocket Visco Indulgance 1400:
* 1400 pocket springs
* 3 rows of side stitching
* Tufted finish with a sumptous layer of visco-elastic memory foam
* Knitted panel with complementary border
* Choice of sprung-edge or platform top divan
Sleepeezee Pocket Visco 1400:
* 1400 pocketed springs
* 2 rows of side-stitching
* Knitted panel with a complementary woven border
* Tufted mattress with upholstery including 47 mm memory foam
* No need to turn the mattressShould've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I am trying to buy a Nestledown mattress to replace one I already have and guess what? they come under the same 'banner' of sleepeezee.
The Nestledown website is 'under construction' and the email they give was rejected.
Now reading the OP's problem.......I am rapidly going off these people!0 -
Hi there, can anyone help please? We ordered a Simmons bed, tonp of the range, and got sent a Sleepeezee. We have always had Simmons Indulgence mattresses in the past and they have been lovely. This one os completely different, it is uncomfortable and also, we wake up swimming in perspiration - the mattress smells terrible and we cannot even clean it, or turn it over as it is one of those that you cannot turn. I emailed Simmons and they simply state "
Dear Gayle, Unfortunately specifications do change over time. This model now fits in with the Sleepeezee quality and although we do make Simmons beds, the range is now targeted at a slightly different level. Regards.Sue"
Surely this cannot be right?
Any ideas what I can do? Any help is much appreciated.
Kind regards,Gayle
Incidentally, what on earth does targeted at a slightly different level mean?

It means that even though it's part of the overall 'range of products within that category', that it's targeted at a 'smaller income bracket' so therefore by definition, it's usually cheaper
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

You will see from this link that Simmons do own Sleepeezee, Nestledown, and Cumfilux. But they do also still trade as Simmons.
Like many large multinationals it appears that they may be cutting costs by allocating different types of mattress to each brand, so that that each factory would have a huge automated production line. Unfortunately automation often lowers quality, and your experience could be a result of this.0
