Hi Louise, from what I remember the market for buying SIM cards on eBay has considerably died down. When O2 first started doing these offers and not as many people knew of them there was a nice bit of profit to be made (I used to sell some). However, the market is flooded with these SIM's now, I would imagine selling seperately is going to get you a higher price...although perhaps take longer to sell the whole lot as listing on different days is probably required for maximum price.
You could indeed sell in bulk but I wouldn't be expecting too much £££ from these, unless you have some 'gold' numbers in there. These are numbers which are very easy to remember and can be used for businesses etc.
Try searching on eBay for finished listings of similar items..and you should find out what to expect from the sale of your SIM cards, I would however say that it is probably a good idea to start on something like this, if you sold every SIM card then you'd have plenty of feedback to be going on with...of course your lack of feedback as a new member on eBay currently will not help with the final price reached by your items. (it will be lower).Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0 -
I whacked 67 sims of varying kind on ebay a few weeks back - bidding topped out at about 26 quid and items didn't sell. I doubt you'd get anywhere nea that for the number of sims you have so is it worth it?
I've still got mine here and am considering how to get rid of them.Cover me in honey and fling me to the hermaphrodites!0 -
since the market has died down i've had better luck with selling them as job lots of 10-20 i think that tends to attract bootsalers
you pay too much in fees selling individually as you'll make less than a quid most times
a few months ago i could sell 12 o2 for about £8-10 other sims don't sell well at allfounder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
Someone suggested selling them to cashconverters so along I went (After a phone call confirming that they would take them!) wasted journey they don't take them anymore!! GRRR you could always try a local place like that or a cashconverters in your area might!!

Thinking about it again...you could even try a car boot sale yourself..you might not sell all of them but you'd make a few quid I expect from a few small shop owners or whatever.Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0

As above, you'll not get much for them now, most people know they can be picked up online free and those who don't have already brought for pence or don't want one.
I sold about 60 a few weeks back for £60 (including post which was about £10) so thats about the max you could ever get now!
Better off using the free credit to download CD albums if there is any you want!

You'll prob not get too much but consecutive sims (ie 4 or 5 phone numbers in a row) can sell for an OK amount. Selling individually is a bit of a waste of time, as is selling in a group if they're random numbers. Check to see how many 'sets' of number you have in that list of yours.0

i can only see the numbers for the O2 and virgin sims. The orange and T mobile are inside the pack. Should iopen them to get the numbers or do they need tobe intact.

i dont know if its any help to you, but i sell all of mine to a local independent phone shop. He pays me £2 per sim card whicj is more than i can get anywhere else for them!
Do you have any local independent phone shops that you could ask?The Only Thing Men Can Do Right Is Get Everything Wrong
