Are the "AA" also "BHAM MIDSHIRES"?

I took out a couple of monthly interest fixed rate bonds with the AA recently.
Today I had some payments made into my current account under the name "BHAM MIDSHIRES", is that the incoming interest from them?
Despite having a good root around on the AA website I can't find any reference to it.

Yes they use BM.
Have a look at the bottom of their web pages such as this one.
It says:The deposit-taker for the AA savings accounts is Birmingham Midshires, a division of Bank of Scotland plc0 -
D'OH! .. obvious when you know where to look!

There's a useful page on the main site listing providers under the same banking license http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/safe-savings#whatcounts0
