Hate bumping, but yes it does matter. Your account needs to be viewable by people who aren't on your follow list. If you have it on protected updates, then the hashtag won't show up in Twitter search and your entry won't be valid.Wins of 2014: *zip*

Thanks Jaxdia. Have unprotected my updates while I am doing this comp. Hope I don't end up with all kind of weird followers  (they'd have to be very weird - my updates are numbingly boring and only of meaning to me most of the time)

Help!!
Totally confused.....just registered on twitter...what do I have to put now?- Go to the ebuyer.com homepage, then click the deal of the day birdy at the top of the page.
- You should see a banner on the next page with birdy, and a 3 digit number in it. Click the little blue speech bubble with 'tweet this' in it.
- You should be taken to your twitter homepage (if you're not logged in it will let you do that first) and the ebuyer message will be written out for you in your box at the top of the page, all you need to do then is click 'update'

Unfortunately the comp only runs at the weekend.
I think from the terms they will they be doing a final draw on Friday? Ah no, for the final draw you have to have purchased a deal of the day product and tweeted them your order number, so it's game over really for most of us.0 -
in reality I mean for anything that has to do with twitter, I just don't get how you do it
In general people take for granted that you might know
i don't.
But thanks all the same:beer:for answering:beer:Thanks to those who help us to win !0 -

I agree, I think most websites don't give you enough info on how to enter with twitter, and just expect you to know. It's unfair. In any twitter comps I post now I've been trying to give simplified explanations, and I tried to give one on this post in response to Annie12 asking, above your post.
Unfortunately, if you're trying to follow the instructions I gave now, the ebuyer site no longer has the 3 digit code and 'tweet this' link, because the comp only runs at the weekend, so you can no longer enter unless you buy a deal of the day product.0 -
