I am hoping to get more work done today although I am treating myself to a manicure! I am hoping to catch the tennis later....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Morning all.. aww big fluffy cat
Really pleased for you that you got the kitten Pap
Big hugs for those who need them. Maz, good luck with the talk, as you said the other day she seems to have picked up that something is wrong so it will probably be a relief for her to have it explained - one of my friends who split up with his wife when his kids were young had to do the talk and they understood that the new situation would be better because everyone was unhappy with the way things had been.
I'm still avoiding awkward man-related situations here
Arranged to do things with friends all weekend so I don't have to confront it - am seriously thinking about trying to put it off until just before I go on holiday so I'm away for a week and he can't be constantly hassling me. Not the best way to go about things I suppose but I know what it was like last time and I expect the same or worse
Ah well.. looking forward to some fun stuff with friends and getting out for a nice long run at some point

Morning all.
Why is it there always has to be hassle with men? I have a great bf, very supportive and lovely, but hasn't said he loves me yet. (Been together for 1yr4months). Not much else wrong with him - atm.

Okay have a funny one for you...bought size 34b bra in primani with knickers attached on the hanger - so in theory 34b size - they feel a little bigger than the last pair but not huge - size on knicker label says 12/14...
Okay so there's no way they are 12/14 since I'm size 8 - biggest they can be is 8/10 (they fit but arent as snug as the other pair I have) - so is the wrong label on them or do primani really believe people with 34b boobs have size 12/14 bottoms??

well done maz on the weight loss. I have restarted my diet too but i've just been browsing on the OS board and have got a recipe for scottish tablet, and I have the ingredients here so Im itching to have a go. I'm crap in the kitchen but for some strange reason the only thing which usually comes out well is sweets... typical.
Dumb cooking question here, but how do you all defrost meat? I got a load of M&S huge joints of beef a couple of months ago when they were on bogof and I chopped them in half, still a decent sized joint. Anyway, if I stick it in the fridge to defrost the stupid thing is still frozen 2 days later. My fridge isn't that cold, I have a thermometer in there which says it's the right temp. leaving meat out of the fridge to defrost can't be good though.:A
