you guys are awesome - I love you!! And now i have shed a tear - dont care whether or not I am at work.
The money gods are conspiring against me today - lovely boss lady is leaving on maternity leave today and girls decided would be nice to get lunch in. Just been told it amounts to £5 each and extra for flowers. Already paid £20 towards a leaving gift!!! Not amused - nor am I even hungry!DFW 228 LONG H 68

Hi Everyone
Angelflower - so sorry to see you going through this. It might be worth contacting another solicitor. Also, it's a bit of a 'wild' idea and I am sure that you have thought of it but have you contacted Shelter or Citizen's Advice. Sending you lots of hugs and good vibes.
My list today is very short as I am spending it with mum after her day procedure.- scratchcard - 10p
- dentist - £30 ouch
- washing HC before I left my flat
- read wedding magazine and start to list stuff I need to do
- call up a couple of alternative venues to ask prices and see if they are worth looking at
- cook dinner for my family tonight as everyone will be coming to see mum
- do some work for work to keep up if I get a chance.

Hi everyone - big hugs to you Angelflower, you're trying so hard and everything seems to be conspiring against you at the moment. So sorry I don't have anything practical to add.
Today I..
1) Looked but didn't buy anything at the Boden sale. That took willpower!
2) Bought T a couple of t-shirts for £1 at Primark instead. Far cheaper!
3) Parked outside town to avoid paying for parking.
4) Took T for lunch - 79p toasties at Subway.
5) Bought exciting stuff like dishwashing tablets at the 99p Store.
6) Read a bit of Tess of the D'Urbervillles for free entertainment.
7) Went to library and got books and hired cheap DVDs.
8) Sorted out kitchen cupboards to make room for Approved Food order. Now realise exactly how much food is in the house.
Embarrassing, but good news for my purse.
9) SC x 20p
Off to collect B in a minute, her choir is competing in a competition today so hopefully she will have good news.
Well done on your hotel win katylittlelady. Where you going?
See you later, L x0 -
Thanks Lurleene!
We have two nights including Breakfast at the Hilton Hotel in Portsmouth!! Also included some attraction tickets!! For anyone who has the spare time it is well worth entering the competitions! I do them all the time and have won nearly 100 prizes with a value of over £3000 so far this year!! Isn't always money-saving as such but certainly means I get occasional luxuries I couldn't otherwise afford!! Wishing anyone who tries lots of good luck x x xThank you to all posters:beer:0 -
