Friday 3rd July - What small DFW things have you done today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D
Good morning everyone.....it's Friday:beer::beer:
Raining here though, and I left towels on the line:rolleyes:
My girsl off for a weekend away with their dad after school today so a very quiet weekend lined up for me....sounds good to me
Hope everyone ok.....have a great Friday:D
Today I will:

Morning all :j
Friday (hooray) and it is raining here, but much cooler and more comfortable than yesterday.
Today I have / will:
Check online banking (done)
See to animals and plants - no outside watering today :j
Sort out mountain of clean laundry that has accumulated in the hall
Some of it I will need to wash again because small dog #1 thought the laundry basket full of towels would be a good place for a nap  (Does look cute though)
HM meals and leftovers for supper (OH is going out, and I have some pasta and meatballs left, enough for me)
Go to work later as I am feeling better today, but take it easy according to doctors orders  She wanted to sign me off but I have only 29 days left to hand everything over and finish off. And I am on leave next week anyway so will have a rest then

Hi everyone, I am posting more and these days, getting some motivation back I think. The doctor thinks I have a food intolerance, so I am trying a new diet this week, its going well so far and I hope she is right about what she said, as I might loose some weight also.
Today I am planning to
- bake some shortbread biscuits with DS (they are ok on my diet, in small amounts)
- DS is going out with his dad for a few hours, so I am going to go swimming using my disabled pass, should only cost me £1.45
- photograph some things for ebay when I get back
- use food I have in for lunch and tea
- tidy round the back garden a bit if I get chance
- get a non openable tin for coins in town and start saving my my holidays
- get the Turkish lira I found in the house changed back, should get around £20 for them
- put the money I get from the lira in the tin
Hope everyone is alright0 -

Hello everybody!
I can't remember how I used to start my day before I used to post on here and it's only been a few weeks! It's really helping me tho to be focussed and motivated - have even passed on some of my enthusiasm to my big sister!
mogchops good luck in counselling, it helped me - best advice I can give is to be as honest as possible, if you hold anything back then it won't work as well as if u fully commit to it. Sorry if i'm butting in and sticking my nose where it's not wanted...
Good luck with mortgage Tallie
