I often do pancakes for the kids lunches at the weekend or in the holidays. You're right they're lovely and so quick & easy :D I've read somewhere that you can make them, layer them up with interleaved greaseproof paper & freeze them. Sounds like a good idea but they don't last long enough here :rotfl:

    Hello

Im going to try harder this week to stick to my plan which is currently as follows:

Monday - Chicken Pie, Yorkshire puddings, brocolli, sweetcorn and carrots
Tuesday - Bacon, Mushrooms, Cherry Tomato Pasta
Wednesday - Houmous, Chicken, Cous Cous, Pitta Bread
Thursday - Chicken, Salad, Corn on Cob
    Friday - Spag Bol

Thats as far as Ive got......

My meal plan, has again this week, gone slightly off course!

Monday we ended up with my little ones friend unexpectedly and the kids would have chewed their own arms off if they had had to wait for chicken pie, so they had a whoopsied pizza from Mr S!

I made the chicken pie for me as it had already been defrosted and I had it for lunch on Tuesday and dinner last night.

As well as the whoopsied Pizza I also picked up whoopsied Steak! Which we had on Tuesday night as stew done in the slow cooker :D It was lovely! :p The mushrooms etc went into the stew and the bacon in the fridge was no longer suitable for human consumption! So I binned it. But the other things I wanted to use up in the pasta have been used in other ways, so thankfully nothing else was wasted!

Little one loved the stew so he had some of the leftovers for dinner last night.

So! My plan for the rest of the week is now as follows (cos Ive forgotten to take chicken out of the freezer for tonight  ):

Thursday - Spagetti Carabonara with garlic bread
Friday - Im going out with the other mums from school! :D
Saturday - Chicken, potato gratin and corn on cob and brocolli
    Saunday............
