Here is the plan I've just sketched out - haven't been to the shops for ages, but will go tomorrow.
Saturday: pasta with courgette sauce
Sunday: herring salad with apple
Monday: spicy spinach soup
Tuesday: couscous-fish bake with peppers and aubergine
Wednesday: courgette and grilled pepper lasagne
Thursday: smoked chicken salad, herby baked polenta
Friday: cantonese rice
Saturday: out on beekeepers' club excursion, meal provided
Sunday: pasta with salmon, peas and hollandaise sauce

Hope you are having a good weekend. Been doing reasonably well at sticking to meal plan (although OH has insisted on a BBQ on a couple of nice nights), so here is this weeks:
Sun: Breaded Plaice, Chips & Peas
Mon: Chicken Curry & Rice
Tue: Prawn Yakisoba
Wed: Sirloin Steak, Mash & Diane Sauce
Thu: Tuna Pasta Bake
Fri: Hot Dogs & Wedges
Sat: Quiche & Salad
Lunches will be sardine/prawn salads, salad rolls, leftover pasta bake.

Sun: scrambled eggs & tomatoes on toast
Linda McCartney sausages (were £1 I think at Tesco last wk), cabbage, broccoli, onion gravy, swede & carrot, boiled potatoes with herbs (bring potatoes to boil in a big pan, set timer for 20 mins, add swede, add carrot at ten mins, pop in broccoli at 7 mins and steam cabbage in a sieve over the top at 5 mins)!
Mon: Veggie chilli (onion, peppers, carrot, mushrooms, kidney beans tinned toms) & jacket potatoes
Tuesday: Pizza, lettuce, spinach & herb salad (HG) & part bake ciabatta roll (BOGOF at Booths last week, so 8 for 99p)
Weds: Same as Mon
Thurs: Same as Sun.
Fri: Pasta??? Maybe with a Bertolli sauce (79p at homebargains) on sat.)
Sat: Poached eggs, boiled potatoes, broccoli & steamed cabbage0 -
sunday - creamy chicken with rice
monday - meatloaf with potato wedges
tuesday - homemade pizza
wednesday - garlic and lemon chicken with couscous
thursday - chilli con carne with rice
friday - pork chops with chips
saturday - meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta0 -
This week is:
Monday: HM chicken, sweetcorn and broccoli pasta bake, salad
Tuesday: LO bake and garlic bread
Wednesday: Quorn mince cottage pie and peas
Thursday: quiche and roasted veg (red onion, pepper, courgette) cous cous
Friday: sausage rolls, chips and beans
Saturday: LO cottage pie for 1, [STRIKE]LO quiche for 1[/STRIKE], and sweet potato chips
Sunday: Spaghetti bolognaise

Stuck fairly well to last weeks plan so here is this weeks:-

Sunday: Lamb stew, new potatoes & roasted veggies
Monday: Sweet & sour chicken & noodles
Tuesday: Pasta bake & garlic bread
Wednesday: Roast lamb (from freezer, already cooked) & salad
Thursday: Fish & chips
Friday: Pork chops, roast potatoes and veg
Hardly bought any meat this week thanks to the plans as I knew there was plenty in the freezer, so grocery bill a lot less than usual.:o0 -
I should never read this thread before lunch! Back from hols so here's this weeks plan a bit late:
Monday - panfried fish, beetroot salsa, roast courgettes and potato salad (beetroots, courgettes and onions are HG!)
Tuesday - Tomato, mushroom and bean casserole with mashed turnips and carrots (turnips and carrots HG)
Wednesday - out with a friend
Thurday - Jerk Chicken and homemade chips
Friday - Piccadillo
Saturday - out!
Sunday - Roast Chicken:beer:0 -

Lunches all week - home made greek bean salad with tuna and feta cheese
Monday - beef and bean chilli with rice
Tuesday - chicken stir-fry
Wednesday - grilled steak, broccoli and saute potatoes

Friday - home made chicken and vegetable curry
Saturday - out to dinner

Monday - Chicken Pie, Yorkshire puddings, brocolli, sweetcorn and carrots
Tuesday - Bacon, Mushrooms, Cherry Tomato Pasta
Wednesday - Houmous, Chicken, Cous Cous, Pitta Bread
Thursday - Chicken, Salad, Corn on Cob
Friday - Spag Bol

Ok so the meal plan has gone a tiny bit out the window. My original was for soup and sarnie for yesterday lunch but I wasnt well on Monday night so ended up just having toast and the tuna pasta I was going to have last night just didnt appeal as I was still feeling queezy. Unfortunately I was starving by the time I got to work and ended up buying some dinner (only 80p - but 80p more than I should have spent!).
Anyways feeling better today so should be back on track.........Emma :dance:
