Camping Online

Hi,
Just wanted to share my frustrations with an online camping equipment company. As I am a new user I can't post a link ut the company is called camping online
Last June we bought an electricity hookup from them. We used it once and it worked fine. This June we went camping again and we couldn't fit the plugs in the sockets. I initially sent an email to them to which they didn't respond. Then I phoned them where the woman said yes lots of emails don't get through. I then explained. She said she would contact the manufacturer on Monday and get back to me.
It's now Thursday and I haven't heard anything so I phoned up and spoke to a man who I presume is the owner of the company. He first of all said that he was too busy to do anything about it. Then after not very helpful comments, he started making up all this nonsense stuff about electricity sockets. I have to admit I laughed at this point as he was suggesting I hadn't plugged the unit in! He hung up. I phoned back immediately. He did answer. He then accused me of dropping it, or doing something to it and not allowing at all for the fact that perhaps maybe it's a dud unit. We have only used the unit once and it has been safely stored for the past year.
He was completely unhelpful and his attitude was that it wasn't his proble. I would definitely recommend that people stay away from this company as if anything goes wrong they will do their best to be as difficult and hostile as possible.
Am I being unreasonable? Has anyone else had any experience with them?
Just as an end note I wanted to say this is a fantastic website and a brilliant forum. Well done to everyone who makes such a valuable contribution.
