Conveyancing costs on a leasehold flat

I am very very rusty of this sort of information.

One of my family is selling a small leasehold flat in block of four for less than £100,000 and I wonder what the costs would be these days.

Also are the 'no sale no fee' solicitors more common because when I was working - in my area - it was rare.

I've just bought a leasehold flat and the fee my solicitor charged was £395+vat+disbursements. Pretty reasonable I thought.

    Take a look at this.

Solicitors have lost business like anyone else, so you can always negotiate - price and terms like no sale no fee.

Smaller firms more likely to drop prices than big name firms, so shop around
