Options
Hi All,

Anyone used www.greenthumb.co.uk to treat their lawn? If so, what were the results like?

Thanks

Mark

We use them and have been really impressed with the results as have next door neighbours.
  • yes we have used greenthumb for over 2 years and our lawns have got worse. They are now full of thatch and 60% of our front law is dead. I complained and didn't get a response, chased it this morning to be told that it will be October before they will charge me to Scarify our lawns. We are very dis-satisfied :( Needless to say we will not be using them again. Several of our neighbours in our shropshire village have also used them and then cancelled their agreements.

    Regards

    John

We have been pretty pleased with them, but be warned their prices creep upwards at quite a rate over time. It's now at a point where we are seriously considering ditching them and going DIY.

it's worth noting it is a franchise i think, so some areas may be better operated than others. We used them for about 18 months and was absolutely delighted with the results, it really transformed our lawn, but we had to tighten the belt on unnecessary expenses and unfortunately at £64 a quarter (we have quite a big garden) couldn't justify the cost. But if we ever get flush again i will definitely get them back!

Results could best be described as 'patchy' then

Indeed some franchises are better than others. I have tried calling them about 4 times with no response! Awful customer service...
