What should the LL provide in an unfurnished house

Hi, I am new to renting and hope that someone can help me.
I am just about to rent an unfurnised house, and in the kitchen the landlord is providing a washing machine, oven, and dishwasher. However, there is no fridge/freezer. Is he required to provide a fridge/freezer by law? Some people I know who are renting say he is, others say he isnt.
Any advice will be appreciated!
thanks

I don't know, but I would think your LL is not obliged to provide any furniture, which I would class as stuff you wouldn't expect to be included if you bought a house. I'd be happy with getting a washing machine oven and dishwasher to be honest.0

a landlord can offer a property with as many or as few things in it as s/he sees fit - if you dont like it - dont sign the agreement and look elsewhere
or ask the LL/LA if they could provide what you want - the worst that can happen is they say no
i personally provide no white goods whatsoever in my unfurnished properties - except a built in hob and oven0 -
You can buy one brand new, delivered, from Comet for £120 or so (randomly picked figure for easy maths) ... spread over you being in the property for just 12 months that would equate to just £10/month even if you walked out and left it.
If you're going into unfurnished, then picking up a fridge/freezer wouldn't be an issue.0
